Too cold

So a cold front blew through last night making it way too cold for almost April today. So today I did absolutely nothing except for lay on the couch. So my picture for today is of Harley and my feet because we basically laid like this all day!

Grooming

Since I haven been without my computer and without the use of my iPhone I have not been able to update my blog so this blog is dedicated to the last 4 days. Wednesday March 16th is of Sadie right after she got groomed!


March 17tg is of the strawberry ice cream I enjoyed from Milwaukee Joes in Southlake on a beautiful day!


March 18th- my mom dragged me shoe shopping in Dallas and she finally found a store that carries everything in narrow and I think she tried on 100 pairs of shoes, so my picture for this day is all of the boxes!


My picture for today, the 19th, is of the gigantic dog that was lounging in Southlake town square!

A day with the Bennett girls...

So today I spent my time with the lovely Bennett girls, Emma and Brianna. We went to the zoo this morning! It was super crowded and still quite cold. But after lunch, dippin dots, and gorillas we finished our time there! We then proceeded back to the girls house where I watched them do their competition dances, their recital DVD, Toy Story 3 and we colored! I'm not going to lie I was pretty worn out. I dropped the girls off at their grandma's around 4:30. Upon leaving, I searched and searched for my iPhone. I even went back to their house and searched it top to bottom as well as my car for the third time. I then returned to the grandma's house to ask the girls if they knew where my phone had gone. Much to my surprise, Emma admitted to hiding it in her mom's closet. That little sneaker! She was so quite all along and then she did a great job of tricking me! Lesson learned for next time. So my picture for today is dedicated to them!

Alamo Cafe

My picture for yesterday, March 14th, is of the last nacho on the plate at Alamo Cafe in San Antonio. Rene loves this place and so we went there for him! The best thing about the restaurant is the warm, flour tortillas that are served on every table. I don't normally eat them, but I couldn't resist. Of course I forgot to take a picture of the tortillas, but I got what was left of the nachos!

Jaclyn

Smores for dessert

For dinner tonight, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, mom and I went to Piatta in San Antonio! We enjoyed a great Italian dinner and when we were about full we caught a glance of the dessert at the table next to us. Make your roasted marshmallows for s'mores! We had to have those! Jaclyn asked for milk with dessert because she's really 5 in a 20 year olds body. She insisted it had to be cold, and lucky for her our waiter offered to put it in the freezer before he brought it out. Jaclyn was happy! So we all enjoyed a great girls night out :)

Your kidding.....

I was lucky enough to get in another workout today!!!!! But the machine stopped working 2 minutes until I hit the 60 minute mark. I know it's only 2 minutes, but I really needed those extra two minutes. I know you are probably thinking why didn't I get off and get in another machine: well every machine in the whole stinkin place was being used. So grrrr to that. So my picture for today is the time on the machine when it froze...

Walking

So because my gym has been closes for three days now I have had to find alternate exercise activities! I got a free 3 day pass to the YMCA by my house and my sister and I have been walking for an hour everyday. I still don't feel like I'm getting a good workout but at least it's better than nothing. So my picture today is of the scenery on our walk!

Happy Birthday Colleen

Happy 21st birthday to my sister Colleen! One of the things to do on my list of 25 was to have a celebration in honor of Colleen's 21st. So my family and I went to Olive Garden (the last place we went with Colleen for her bday). We had a great time celebrating and talking about Miss Colleen! My picture for today is of our celebration!

Chloe

So I know I have posted numerous photos of my dogs on here, but today I just couldn't resist. My Chloegirl has been quite the sassy little thing lately. She is so independent, unlike Sadie who wants to be cuddled and wants attention. But several times today Chloe came and snuggled next to me. It warms my heart so much to know that she still loves me. So I just couldn't resist taking a picture of her :)

Cookie dough

Tonight after dinner I made chocolate chip cookies for Rene. I normally make them homemade, but he bought the just stick on the pan ones. But I'm not going to lie- I love eating the cookie dough. I like to let it sit and kind of get mushy and then eat it very slowly. Oh it is so yummy. So of course I couldn't help but take a picture of the yummy cookie dough!

Since it is now March, I went shopping and found some super cute St. Patty's day themed hand towels for my kitchen!!!! I love St. Patricks day because I love the color green! I think it looks good on everybody and my eyes are green! If you are interested in these hand towels you can purchase them at Khols! So my picture for today is of my new hand towels!

Chili cook-off

So today at school we had a chili cook-off between kinder and pre-k classes. It was so much fun! My kids loved adding the ingredients and putting in our classes secret ingredient. They asked me to stir it almost every five minutes. The award my class received was tomato-twisting chili! They were pretty excited! As they watched the administration taste the different chili's they all kept asking me if I thought anyone would guess our secret ingredient. It was too cute :) My picture for today is of the chili table!

I'm tired....

I'm so tired. I have been laying in my nice comfy bed watching my shows. I'm pretty bummed that Glee wasn't on, but I'm super excited about Parenthood tonight. So after kickboxing I came home and took a bubble bath and here I am. So my picture for tonight is of my tv from my bed :)
